At organizations across the country, there are workers on the job — but who aren’t really there. Midwest EAP Solutions offers a wide variety of integrated resources designed to keep your employees on the job — and help them be as productive as possible— while helping them confront life’s major challenges. We also help them manage a wide variety of work & life challenges to minimize distractions during work hours.
Supportive counseling and coaching are at the core of all the services we offer. We help employees deal with everything from marital and relationship issues to depression, stress, anxiety, anger and grief, as well as parenting challenges and concerns and more — whether they want to talk with us in person or by phone.
Recognizing that chemical dependency is one of the most serious problems facing many organizations, chemical dependency and addiction evaluation and referral are also among our core services — provided at no extra cost.
We ensure absolute confidentiality around all the services we provide — with the exception of performance referrals where both the manager and employee are aware upfront that confidentiality is limited.
Watson Wyatt’s Global Strategic Rewards Report found that stress was cited by 48% of employees as the reason for leaving their jobs.

In a study titled “What Prevents People from Seeking Mental Health Treatment?” two-thirds of the more than 2,500 adults surveyed said they lacked a basic understanding about the treatment process itself and lacked confidence about the outcome. And, 28% weren’t sure if it was appropriate to seek help.
At Midwest EAP, we work very hard to educate managers and employees about their EAP benefit and encourage them to call whenever they think they might need help — with any concern, no matter how large or small.
We know that making that call can be difficult — so we do everything we can to make sure that each caller is personally assisted and that by the time they hang up, we have connected them with the information and services they need.
