Supportive counseling and coaching are at the core of all the services we offer. We help employees deal with everything from marital and relationship issues to depression, stress, anxiety, anger and grief, as well as parenting challenges and concerns and more — whether they want to talk with us face to face or by phone.
Recognizing that chemical dependency is one of the most serious problems facing many organizations, chemical dependency and addiction evaluation and referral are also among our core services — provided at no extra cost.

Additional or Fewer Sessions: You can adjust your Performance or Profit Plan to provide one, five or more face-to-face sessions.
Critical Incident Stress Management: Helps your organization deal with crisis situations, such as the loss of an employee or workplace violence, by supporting managers and supervisors in the aftermath — and helping them get your employees get back on their feet.
Customized Wellness Programs: Wellness Coaching, Wellness Center Web Services, Wellness Screenings, Health Risk Assessments and Wellness Kits are among the available tools and services.
Enhanced Financial™ Services: Financial debt management consulting services that include:
- Toll-Free Information Line — Financial counselors address questions on all types of financial issues and follow up by mailing supporting educational materials.
- Financial Counseling — Certified Consumer Credit Counselors provide hour-long confidential counseling sessions addressing an individual’s specific concerns and resulting in a written plan of action.
- Debt Management Plan — We are able to work with creditors to provide repayment plans for unsecured debt.
- Bankruptcy Prevention Unit — Specialists ensure consumers understand the ramifications of bankruptcy filing and help determine other options.
- Credit Report Review — Credit reports and credit scores are provided to the employee for $10 per report and Certified Credit Report Review Specialists are available to clarify the content and discuss options, rights and responsibilities.
- Housing Education — Counselors assist consumers in preparing for home purchase, or options around keeping the home in cases of financial distress.
- Nationwide Referral Database — We maintain a database of non-profit referral sources for consumers in need.
- Educational Materials — Available on-line or in hard copy, we have a comprehensive library of financial educational materials in English and Spanish.
- Access to Certified Financial Planners (CFP) who are able to answer general questions about financial planning and long-term goal setting.
- Strategic Financial Planning — A $75 counseling session with a CFP who will address specifics of a consumer’s long term plan, including goals, retirement planning, investment planning, insurance needs and estate planning.

Training & Development: Midwest EAP Solutions offers a wide variety of trainings on topics ranging from anger, stress and change management to healthy living and financial management. Most courses are one- or two-hour sessions. All of our courses can be customized to meet your organization’s unique needs.
Work Group Conflict Resolution: Helps work groups resolve conflicts and disagreements and provides tools for creating and maintaining a positive work environment.
